AL IPL Represented at SE Faith Leaders Network Inaugural Event

AL IPL Executive Director Rev. Michael Malcom, Program Coordinator Kyle Crider, and Steering Committee member Rev. Clifton McMillan attended the Southeast Faith Leaders Network (SFLN) inaugural environmental justice training event held Sunday-Tuesday, October 27-29, at the beautiful Christmount Retreat Center located near Asheville, NC. You can read more about the event here. The event was a joint effort of Creation Justice Ministries and Interfaith Power and Light of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama. The retreat equipped faith community leaders to identify oil and gas infrastructure threats to their local communities, understand environmental justice principles, and speak effectively with the media. The training was a pre-event for a larger Southeast Faith Leaders Network event in 2020. You can support this and other important work by AL IPL with a tax-free donation via PayPal:
